New round of objections needed by 4 September 2024.
On 8 August 2024, the developer lodged an amended Development Application.
The DA now proposes 43 large residential lots and purports to deal with some of the issues previously raised by objectors and council.
RHVA considers most of the grounds previously identified by Council and objectors to the former DA remain.
This last-minute amendment suggests that the developer is relying on objectors giving up the fight. The past efforts of the community CANNOT go to waste at this crucial point.
The changed DA will be subject to the Court hearing. Shoalhaven City Council remains committed to contesting the changed DA. Council will be relying upon objectors to support its case.
RHVA was unsuccessful in seeking an extension of time for the lodging of objections. This means that objections MUST be lodged by 4 September 2024.
Attached is a document which may provide you with assistance in lodging a further objection to the amended DA.
If you remain opposed to the amended DA it is critical that you do so by the deadline. If we don’t get hundreds of submissions like we did before the Court will think the community accepts the new DA.
RHVA needs you to attend the Court Hearing
On Monday 28 October 2024, the first day of a five-day court hearing dealing with the North Manyana (Inyadda Drive) DA will be held at the Inyadda Beach South End carpark at 10.15am.
It is absolutely critical that all concerned people attend that day so that the court is aware of people’s views. On that day, there will be six local residents who will be speaking. Please ensure that your family and friends are made aware of this. Our Community
